Pokémon Divine Sword & Blessed Shield is a difficulty romhack, taking inspiration mostly from Drayano's work. Intro - What is Pokémon Divine Sword & Blessed Shield? Now, over half a year later and a LOT of hours sunk into playtesting, we are finally ready to release the first version! So, we have been working on an entirely new one ever since the release of the Crown Tundra. Why release another romhack when Sacred Sword & King's Shield is out, you may ask? Well to be quite honest, that project was rushed and is not something we are particularly proud of. I can't believe I am finally writing this, but Phives and I are proud to finally present Pokémon Divine Sword & Blessed Shield, a difficulty romhack.

While both games have a shared pool of Pokemon available, each has several exclusive Pokemon that can only be found in that specific version.
One of the main differences between the two games is the availability of certain Pokemon. They also introduce “raid battles” and “Max Raid Battles,” cooperative multiplayer experiences where players can team up with other trainers to battle against powerful Pokemon. Pokemon Sword and Shield both include new gameplay mechanics such as the “Dynamax” and “Gigantamax” transformations, temporarily allowing certain Pokemon to transform into giant versions of themselves with enhanced abilities. Players can also participate in online battles and trades with other players using the Nintendo Switch’s online features. In both games, players take on the role of a young trainer on a journey through the Galar region, catching and training various Pokemon and battling against other trainers.
